“Those of us in cARTel Bellydance are from out of state (AZ), and we hadn’t explored the Texas bellydance scene at all, but we decided to take a chance and come check things out. Luckily, the ABDC MORE than exceeded our expectations! I can honestly say it’s one of the most professionally run events I’ve ever attended. We had a fantastic time shopping, taking workshops (you guys book some truly amazing teachers), and getting to watch the wonderful calibre and variety of dancers included in the showcases! On top of that, everyone was so welcoming and fun to hang out with - we enjoyed being backstage every bit as much as being on stage! We will definitely plan on coming back!”

“If you have never attended ABDC you are missing out!!!! I don't even know where to begin..... the hotel is in a perfect location, the classes are right at the hotel so you don't have to hitch a ride, take a bus, walk or rent a car. The hotel beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, they have food and drinks at a decent price so no need to drive. But that is just the convenient part because the best part is that this event is so well organized, everyone knows what they are doing, everyone is pleasant and friendly. I feel so strongly about this event that every year I invite my students to come watch the gala or take a few workshops. At ABDC you feel right at home, so much that it is hard to leave. The instructors they select are always excellent, they always ask for feedback on what we prefer out of each class. They do so much research to make sure that WE get exactly what we need, so everyone leaves inspired and with great new tools to use to further your dance. I was going through a choreo block and after this amazing weekend, I felt so motivated, so creative and so inspired that I was able to come up with some of my own combinations.
